The video calling apps have always been one of the essential apps on dual camera mobile devices. Skype and Yahoo Messenger are very popular among them.  But there was something still lacking i.e a good app to make Video/Voice calls to Google Contacts. I recently discovered an app called Vtok which lets Google Talk users make free Video and Voice calls to their friends using Vtok.

Calling from Vtok is easy, you dont need to sign up for any account, simply sign in with your Gmail username and password, and start making calls to your google contacts over Wifi or 3G who are either logged into Vtok on a supported mobile device or even the Desktop users who use Google video chat or the Google Talk desktop client. You can choose whether or not to use video in a call. You can also enable or disable video during a call. The app runs in background and supports push notifications.

I would highly recommend this video calling app , its great.

Vtok is supported on iPhone4, iPhone3GS, iPad2, the 4th generation iPod Touch (with a front facing camera) and all Android phones running OS version 2.1 or later

Your blog was very informative. If you’re looking to purchase an IPAD or Android Tablet, depending on what you are after, some research needs to be done so you are not paying too much – the android can be more than 1/2 the price of an IPAD and with the Android becoming increasingly more popular, Android apps are likely to overtake IPAD apps!
