1.  Go to https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
2. Enter the hardware serial number and click continue.
3. It will display the Repairs and Service Coverage details about your iPhone and the iPhone warranty status. In the screenshot above i checked the warranty status of my iPhone 4S.
4. If your phone is still in warranty you are eligible for repair coverage and you will also be able to extent the AppleCare warranty.
