After the launch of Intel’s top of the line Sandy Bridge Processors, we were looking forward for the AMD Bulldozer FX Series launch at the earliest.
Its been a week now since the rumors floated on the internet about the AMD Bulldozer delay, but the official words are out by AMD. It seems like we have to wait a little longer.

Yesterday in a big conference at Computex 2011 , AMD officially announced the delay of Bulldozer CPU release to late summer, no date was mention. The rumor is that the the high end Bulldozer FX series 32nm, 8 Core Processor will beat the Intel’s high end i7 2600k in performance. The benchmarkers are waiting to get their hands on it. So if you can be patient , hold on your PC upgrades for now.
Apart from the CPU delay, the good news is that the AMD launched its 9-series chipsets, which support the AMD AM3+ socket processors, incorporating AM3 socket backwards compatibility.
These boards enable blazing fast performance with support for AMD CrossFireX™ technology, which allows up to four AMD Radeon™ GPUs to co-process for incredible graphics uplift. In addition, these chipsets support clock rate management through AMD OverDrive™ software. Additionally, the 9-series chipset line-up features up to six SATA 3.0 6Gbps hard drive interface ports, Gigabit Ethernet, HyperTransport™ 3.0 technology, and PCI Express® Generation 2.0 for an extreme computing experience at work and play.
